Overview
About Me
Glacier guide, rope access tech, yoga teacher... I've had a few different lives, but right now I'm living in Iceland. Check out @polar.steph for all the ice-life stuff.
I'm working full-time in Iceland with this great life under my wing, discovering that six degrees and relatively dry (not completely raining) is BASICALLY summer. A bit of a change from forty-five degrees. I'm so proud of myself.
My version of dressing up is "normal clothes" which right now is anything that isn't made of wool, fleece or water-resistant fabric. Extra points if I don't have to wear a thermal layer under jeans.
I'm getting some marine qualifications in the UK in May to increase my changes of getting a jerb in Antarctica :)
