ABOUT ME

We are Stephanie and Manuel with Sara (5) and Jona (2)
We live in beautiful South Tyrol in Italy. We are both very into hiking, cycling or any activity in nature! The kids enjoy to play outside and they love seeing animals. We travelled to the USA, Mexico, Central and South America some years ago and we loved it! Now we set off on this big adventure with our kids: an around the world trip!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have hosted 3 surfers so far and it was a good experience, we had a lot of fun!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have surfed on 3 couches so far, and it was great! It is great if a local can give you advice on where to go and what to visit! That is so much more fun than just reading a guide book. We have experienced many cool things you won't find in a guide book! We would like our kids to meet people from around the world because that is definitely something that can help them to be open-minded and more aware of other cultures.

Interests

Stephanie enjoys many different kinds of sport (hiking, running, Pilates, Yoga, cycling, snowboarding) and also cooking and reading.
Manuel is a senior civil engineer, he practices different kind of sports and his all time favorite is soccer.
We both love travelling!
Sara is quite shy at first when she meets new people, but very outgoing when she feels more comfortable with them. She loves when somebody tells her stories and she likes climbing.
Jona tries to follow his sister whenever he can. He loves to "wrestle" with his parents.
Both of them would kill for a scoop of icecream ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in the Redwood National Park. The trees are amazing!!
Swimming next to sea lions, penguins or giant turtles (Galapagos Islands) was outstanding.
