Love when books that I have read enter my dreams.
Would love to wear a dress everyday.
Being in water (but not so much being wet, showers are a chore).
Making up amusing back stories to people I do not know.
Laughing and dancing at the same time.
Sarcasm rules my humor.
Gets distracted by shiny things, especially when there are sequins involved.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Skipped my first day of classes in Japan to go on a road trip with an older family that I had met at the bar the night before. Didn't know where we were going, I couldn'speak Japanese, they couldn't speak English. Drove 3 hours to the beach, and they taught me how to surfboard for the first time in my life.

I traveled to India to observe a NGO, and witnessed an 80 year old man read outloud for the first time in his life. His passion was encouraging.

I hiked 14km into a mountain while in India and meet a forest dwelling that had never before seen foreigners and the NGO was preparing them for our visit. After walking through a slashed and burned forest section, a lady took me and washed my feet, which were shoeless and now black. I am still processing those emotions...
