About Me
CURRENT MISSION
ICELAND.
ABOUT ME
I am an openminded German student with Chinese background and a mad love for Scotland and pretty much everything associated with this - may it be the haggis, kilts, bagpipes or even just the accent - who is just taking every opportunity to get out of everyday routine to travel and to meet new and exciting people. I mostly travel with my backpack and just love finding great spots to pitch a tent and enjoy the surrounding. I found out that this whole hitchhiking thing, like heading out in the morning not knowing where you'd end up in the evening and just going where ever kind people would take you is just such a great thing, it really helps me relax and clear my head from everything that is going on there.
Besides that, I enjoy doing sports (was training for a triathlon until I broke my ankle - can't wait to get started again!), music and having a laidback chat over a cup of coffee or glass of wine/whisky, depending on the time of the day. :)
PHILOSOPHY
Living life to the fullest, not letting fear or doubts hold me back. Just doing what I feel I want to do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Friends told me about it and I found it to be a perfect chance to meet new people while travelling!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Not much experience with couchsurfing - surfed a few times, and hosted a few times outside of CS.
Interests
Open to almost everything, but I do really enjoy literature, arts (especially performing), music and films. I somehow am quite picky about the literature, music or films I enjoy, but couldn't say if there is any sort of genre that I would really not like at all. I guess it all depends on whether it is wellmade - if it's good, it's good!
I really love scenic views, as I do a bit of photography (I am far far away from being anything close to a pro!) and hitchhiking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking through the Scottish Highlands - visited Inverness, Loch Ness and the Isle of Skye on this trip. Wildcamped up on the mountains, meet incredibly kind people and lost my phone there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could help you with languages, if you're studying any of the ones I do speak - but don't expect too much, as especially my French, Spanish and Chinese aren't as good as they should and used to be, unfortunately. I am trying to catch up and work on my French though.
