About Me

ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from college and I'm working as a digital photographer.. trying to save up money for the next trip or move! I've lived in Worcester, MA for almost 5 years and I love it! I live in a collective house with 9 other people where we share responsibilities and expenses. We often host shows and events and have folks passing through.I volunteer at a community bike shop and I enjoy bike touring immensely! Last summer I went on a tour from Portland, OR to San Francisco, CA. It was so rad! We met so many incredible people on the tour, as well as on the road trip out and back. It was really incredible to bike over 1200 miles on bikes that we built up and maintained ourselves. We had some pretty great CS experiences on that trip.I love going on adventures and traveling! I'm all about experiencing new places to develop a better understanding of where I came from and where I am going. I've had the best experiences and met some of my now closest friends on spontaneous trips.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel like I am forever searching for a way to articulate this!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed 4 times, mostly on that bike tour thing I mentioned in before. It never ceases to amaze me how welcoming folks can be to strangers. I'm into passing on the hospitality that others have shown me. I have a crazy schedule and can sometimes get overwhelmed by hosting guests, but even if I can't commit to being a super great host, I'd love to offer a couch to crash on, food and shower.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music, but find myself mostly drawn to mellow music with fun harmonies, probably because that's what I like to sing. As for books, I love feminist sci-fi and novels with apocalytic themes. My favorite authors right now are probably Margaret Atwood and Octavia Butler.
