Hey, my name is Steve and I love traveling, exploring new cities, and spontaneous adventures.

I’m incredibly passionate about people and have based a big part of my life around encouraging others and doing for one person what I wish I could do for the entire world.

Two years ago I worked in professional sports and had the opportunity to meet many professional athletes. I loved my job and how it allowed me to encourage others through a work field I loved so much. Then shortly into my time working for a very famous baseball team I attracted the attention of a very wealthy investor and entrepreneur who then brought me onto his team as his Chief of Staff, in which I helped him run more than seven businesses.

However, after to a realization that I wasn’t able to use my God-given gifts in this new job, I resigned from my position (despite not having a back up plan), so that I could chase my dream of becoming a full-time touring Magician & Motivational Speaker.

It’s been a crazy journey so far, but I’m excited for the adventures and experiences to come and the people I’ll meet along the way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing for two reasons. 1) To help save some bucks as I travel across the country to various conferences and gigs as an aspiring Magician and Motivational Speaker. 2) To meet new friends and continue to discover the wonder in relationships that are formed through unique experiences and conversations.

What I Can Share with Hosts

It would be a privilege to share some of my performance art of magic and some fun/crazy performance stories with anyone who is willing to host me. Some of my favorite memories are actually performing in living rooms and basements for a small group of people rather than audiences of thousands. *In other words, let’s put on a small show and I’ll share my passion for sleight of hand and many other aspects of the art of magic.
