Living in Sydney, Australia. Im irish and have been in Australia now 10 years. I work as an engineering surveyor in a mining role.
This job is perfect as it allows me alot of free time to engage in outdoor activities. I love trail running, swimming, camping, hiking and im currently learning how to indoor rock climb and progress to the real thing in a couple of months.
Ive started to fish but ive never caught anything as of yet haha.
Im a super chilled out guy, love a pint of guinness and live music is a must. I do enjoy smoking weed with mates as it the best way to chill out and i feel it brings people together and have fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im going to Boston and New York, arriving in Boston on the 26th July until the 31st and accomodation is fecking so expensive. Im hoping to find a couch for a few nights so i can explore Boston. Im meeting a friend who is a doctor there and we will be sight seeing together.
Ive already tickets to see the Red Sox and ive bennn told that Tom Brady and the Patriots are holding a free practice session there at the end of july so im trying to fit in as many activities as I can. Being Irish I want to see southie and the irish bars (Anthony Bourdain loved this area) and also the museums and not forgetting Harvard and MIT......so much history its insane. America has been a calling card for the irish for a while so im super excited. I hope to meet exciting people with an energy to explore cities. Lets have a beer at cheers bar too hahha

Music, Movies, and Books

Led Zeppelin and the doors I love. I like gangster movies and comedy. Currently reading fingerprints of the gods by Graham Hancock and when thats finished i have magicians of the gods which is another of his book to start.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fell off a roof in Jan 2017, nearly destroyed myself. Had a full year of zero training and worked my way back to full fitness. 2018 ive part taken in 2 half marathons and ive never felt better.
Next I will climb a mountain.
