I'm finally realizing that "Someday never comes". My favorite line from my favorite song goes "Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain. You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today. And then one day you find ten years have got behind you. No one told you when to run, you misssed the starting gun." I remember my goals as an ambitious 19 year old, all the places I wanted to travel and things I wanted to see. Very little of it has happened. I work hard, I study I make friends and am relatively happy but there is something missing. The journey if the rest of my life is beginning now and I'm not going to let the next 10 years slip by. I must explore. There is no city or country I'm opposed to visiting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've spent 29 years in California and I've got the urge to explore, travel, meet new people from different walks of life. I want to make lasting friendships, pen pal with people in other countries, work new jobs, apprentice under a skilled craftsmen and start living life for the first time in a long time.

Interests

Chess, music, Spanish language and culture, hiking, motorcycles, new food, cooking, teaching, learning, sports (playing, not watching), Tough Mudder, rivers, and finally discovering new hobbies. Suggest one and I'll try it out.
