About Me
Hey we haven't updated our profile since we moved into our new apartment with TWO couches (one with a door) anyway. Please reach out as we update our profile.
I (Stephen), along with my wife, Courtney, are a couple hell-bent on travel. After traveling a year abroad in Europe with only our 28 liter backpacks, we upgraded to a van. After roadtripping N. America until we got tired of it. We are excited about continuing our travels, learning new things, and meeting new people living in our flat in Georgetown Texas.
I, Stephen, will primarily run this page. I am an entrepreneur, a consultant, and an avid cyclist. My motto is 'You're not hardcore unless you live hardcore'. I have a passion for meeting other people and especially for learning about different cultures. I was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee in the United States, but I have traveled to a few other countries since then.
Courtney, my wife, is an indie author, (her latest book is about our decision to travel and can be found here https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/1523813288?pc_redir=T1)
She is a (red) wine lover, and amateur photographer. She enjoys hearing people's stories and learning about cultural differences. She was born in Austin, Texas (home of the SXSW music festival!), but has lived in Tucson, Arizona, the greater Austin area in Texas, Malmo, Sweden, as well as Chattanooga, Tennessee. She has traveled to 16 countries and looks forward to visiting even more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stephen: (I'm an eagle scout) I built a raft and floated down a river on it; I graduated from university in the United States in 4 years and debt-free; I also worked for equality in the non-profit sector of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Update Sept. 2015: I saw the Marfa lights in Marfa Texas. Those unexplained beauties are amazing and if you ever have the chance take the time to check them out (bring binoculars).
Courtney: Torn between skydiving, going to 'The Wizarding World of Harry Potter' in Orlando, Florida, and (happily) marrying a man I had never even lived in the same state with.
Teach, Learn, Share
Stephen: I've been called an "idea guy." I'm good at finding patterns and creating solution. I'm pretty good at cooking.
Courtney: I am logical and ordered, yet creative. I am balanced and thus good at giving advice. I have been known to edit papers and give writing feedback. I like connecting people who have different and yet complimenting strengths/needs.
