Hi I'm Stephen I live and am from the lovely Ireland. I decided to join this website as I want to start travelling more often. And looking at hotel prices just scared me off. I decided couch surfing would be a much better option as I get to meet new friends and they can show me more of the local culture that is often covered up by the tourist aspect. I'm a great laugh and love to meet new people. Never have a down situation with me. Always joyful and uplifting. Would love to start travelling more and meet fascinating people I can share the experience with. I also row for the Irish Curragh club (old Irish rowing boats) as you can see from one of my photos and race in the international Curragh festival held in my home town of warrenpoint. When I start travelling more I want to vlog it and produces small production looking movies that I can remember and cherish for ever

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing to meet new people that I can call friends and know for life. You get more from your experience staying with a local than in a hotel in my opinion. I'm a very sociable guy and I mainly like to travel on my own so so I can do as I please get and would like to meet people along the way

Interests

My main interest is having a good time and being social. I got along with any gender, age, race etc. Love sharing stories and experiences with new people. I love to downhill mountain bike. Have been doing it for many years. I am one with the sea. Could easily spend a whole holiday just swimming in the open water. Which leads on to my next point. Cliff jumping! I plan on finding some serious sized cliffs in my travels "do something everyday that scares you" I have a vast list of interest and easily find new ones. Very last minute guy. Will wake up and decid to go try something new. I don't take life for granted

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One very big experience in my life was riding a camel across the Sahara desert. Was a massive experience in my life and would love to do it again.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing experiences and knowledge is something I like to receive and give when I can. My professional teachings involve, website building, accounts, engineering. My personal skills that I can teach involve, hurling (the traditional Irish sport) I play every week for the past 14 years. Downhill mountain biking. My house is situated 1 mile from world class downhill mountain biking tracks and park. Have been riding and national racing for 5 years. And last but not least. I'm Irish so I can teach you how to drink!
