I grew up in the country in western Illinois. I have two kids under 4. I'm an old-time and bluegrass musician. I enjoy live music, cooking, reading and talking about civilization. I have worked on a permaculture microfarm, lived in cooperative houses in iowa city and madison, visited denmark and Germany, and changed many diapers.
