Overview
About Me
We all need to be smart and supportive about public health right now. That said, I love traveling. Thoroughly love it. I’ve had some of the best experiences of my whole life while traveling - and several of them via CS.
Doing my best to keep my eyes on the unexpected. I want to be trying something new, but at the same time I like enjoying something old again too. I’m always happy to just hang and chat or go explore or catch an old arcade game match (I’ll lose, but I’ll try hard), or see a show or stay in with a board games or go out late and have a good time.
The pup and I live in L.A., and we always have our eye on adventure (or a good board game night lol). To be direct, if you are anti-BLM, anti-gay, anti-faith, anti-dog, or anti-coffee (hahahah, okay, you can order something else 🤣), we probably *won’t* become besties. Open to difference and growth and adventure!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It just seems like a better way to do traveling... and kind of a better way to do humanity, I think. I do enjoy a good hotel, sure, but there's something more authentic about CS, perhaps.
Interests
I’m open to suggestions. Surprise me. I also love a lot of the low-key things in life... I love movies, cultural events, museums, libraries, grabbing coffee, seeing shows, playing board games on a night at home with friends, and catching a good TV show and then talking about it (afterwards... not during obv). I wish I went to more live music. I really wish there were more classic ‘80s arcades in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Hmmm.. I do like watching TV & going to the movies. I try to go to the cinema each time I visit a new country. Memorable movies = Jurassic Park, Paradise Now, The Muppet Movie, Wonder Woman, Dan in Real Life
TV = I just finished (re)watching the 90s Spider-Man cartoon. Who knew it hit so hard! Emotional programming! Lol (but really! Haha)
Music = I listen to a variety of genres including Christmas year-round, electronic, chill tunes, classical piano, worship, top 40s, Paul Simon, 80s classics, etc. first album I bought was almost TLC, but ended up being Paul Simon.
Books = I read for research & listen to audiobooks for pleasure.
Podcasts = Just getting into them. Have been listening to Ologies. LOVE it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walking through the forest with elephants in Cambodia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am in consulting and teach communication & business courses at a university, so I suppose if you happen to be working a presentation (public speaking, video presentations, business docs, or anything about Snoopy & Schulz, ha, etc.) or need AI-integration consulting around when we meet, feel free to holler and I'll be happy to help!
Also happy to help you with your English if you promise to help me learn more than the two words I probably know in your language.
