Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think people gain a lot through connection with eachother. Timor can be tough to navigate as there isn't much organised tourism, happy to help out any travelers on their way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can find music I like in any genre and really appreciate the variety readily available. Lately I have been listening to jazz, electric swing, and easy listening.

As far as movies go, I'm not picky. The Lion King is still my favourite from childhood.

I have been reading a lot the last 2 years and would appreciate any recommendations on books which cover a topic well for someone approaching it with little prior exposure. Some favourites are "The Count of Monte Cristo", "Guns, Germs, and Steel", and "A Walk in the Woods."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have finished a song of 100 bottles of beer on the wall without stopping. It's ok, you can be impressed 😏

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak Tetun and can teach you about the local culture as I lived with a Timorese family for 2 years.

I love learning new things and listening to people talk about their passions. I'm currently trying to learn bahasa and improve my yoga and meditation if you have any tips.
