Über mich
CURRENT MISSION
To make the world a better place, one vacation at a time!
ABOUT ME
I'm very easy to talk to and people tend to feel at ease in my presence. I can be very silly, sometimes goofy, and a touch sarcastic. I'm basically an easygoing guy with a good heart. I'm good at listening and making people laugh.
I love my work and have traveled around the world to places like Indonesia, Africa and stops in between for work and pleasure. I think I'm getting the bug to go somewhere else soon ...
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in honesty, compassion, deep contemplation and on-the-spot intuition. Don't mistake kindness for weakness. I'm not a pushover or one to let others take advantage. It's just that I believe in seeing the humor and beauty that life constantly offers up to us. I value people who have these same qualities.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
I've climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, hitchhiked through Africa, taught elementary school to children in Lesotho, busked on the tubes in London, the streets of New Orleans and Israel, Lived in remote villages in Indonesia, and survived Malaria that I caught in Malawi. Through it all my most amazing experiences have always involved meeting new people from around the world and taking the time to get to know them.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I can easily teach beginners how to play guitar. I love to cook and can make a mean Bananna's Foster, a true New Orleans dessert! I love salsa dancing (but can only teach you if you're a true beginner here, otherwise we can go take lessons together!). I speak Indonesian fairly well (or at least used to). I teach psychology (developmental, general, educational, and peace psychology). I practice meditation. I love to have conversations about deep and silly topics. I'd be happy to share any of this with anyone who's got an interest.
