Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
try to squeeze in as much fun and travels as possible before its too late and I become lazy and boring
ABOUT ME
I like foreign countries better than home, I like cats better than dogs, I like games better than sport and I like surprises best of all.
PHILOSOPHY
stuff like this should not really be called philosophy, mr. Kant and mr. Nietzsche would not be impressed.
Instead, lets call it `stuff i often think`
- i often think that a good objective in life is to try to understand, experience and enjoy as wide a range of things as possible (it could be people/art/food, anything). This is whats meant by being open minded I suppose, but without pretending to yourself that you have to like everything/everyone.

Music, Movies, and Books
The best writer: Vladimir Nabokov. Other great ones: Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Boris Pasternak, George Orwell, Oscar Wilde
The funniest: P.G. Wodehouse, Charles Dickens, Nabokov (again)
music: Radiohead, Tom Waits, The Beatles, Bjork, The Fall, The Pixies, Bob Dylan, Neil Young.
Newer ones: Little Dragon, St. Vincent, Tame Impala, The Knife, yeah yeah yeahs
Im also really into cheesy pop: 60s girl bands like the ronettes, disco, and silly 80s stuff
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
nothing that would really impress anybody - but lots of little things that were amazing for me
Teach, Learn, Share
I dont think I know what I want to learn or teach- i have to meet the other person first. I suppose I can teach some recipes, music, explain Irish history (I'm not an expert but I'm used to answering questions about it).
