About Me

Recent college graduate traveling Latin America on a budget. I enjoy anything that involves the beach or the jungle (monkeys are the greatest creatures on the planet, behind dinosaurs, whose spirits continue to live through fossils), although there is nothing better to me than live music of any kind.

On this trip, I will be travelling through Peru, Ecuador, and, most likely Colombia. Ultimately my goal is to find a job in an NGO that deals with youth & community development or in the education sector. Until I find this job, I will be moving from location to location, volunteering anywhere that gives me food and board in order to subsidize my travels.

Besides finding a job, I am interesting in connecting and forming bonds with people of diverse backgrounds during this trip. For this reason, I am excited to stay with you and learn all about your beautiful, unique background! I compensate with alcohol, good conversation, bad jokes, tasty meals, or all of the above!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because people are awesome and I want to meet them all...also, because I am trying to travel on a low budget.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music depends on my mood.

Favorite movies: anything with Will Ferrel or directed/produced/written by Judd Apatow. Anything by Harmony Korine. The Drifter. Snowpiercer.

Favorite Books: Holes is the only thing I have read more than twice. Autobiography of Malcolm X. The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell. Reading Cien Años de Soledad and it's incredible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saved the Dutchess of Cambridge from a dragon with nothing more than my bare hands.
