About Me
CURRENT MISSION
compare and contrast cultures histories and narratives
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a small (pop. 284) town in rural Kansas, studied at a small liberal college, then in Germany. I have traveled some in Europe but have mostly focused on Germany because I have many friends (and friends of friends) here. Although I don't feel like I've "become German," I do live between German and American cultures. But living on that edge has it's advantages. I also work as a translator and am generally interested in intercultural exchange and how people from different contexts can understand (and misunderstand) each other.
