CURRENT MISSION

To go out of my comfort zone as much as possible, to explore the places I have not yet been, to meet those who I do not know, and live life while I still can.

ABOUT ME

My name is Stephen and I am a stage manager / tour manager in theatre when I live in the states, but I just recently spent six months in Vietnam as a rock climbing and kayaking guide. Both jobs allow me to bounce around a lot, whether in the States or abroad. This way of life has been an adventure and it allows me to meet some amazing people. Because I do not stay in a single place for too long, Couch Surfing is a fantastic tool in my travels. I have used it to see a lot of Europe with some unforgettable people and look forward to future encounters. During most summers, I work for an international summer camp organization in Europe teaching rock climbing and other outdoor activities to kids.
I am happy, social guy who likes to keep an open mind to new experiences. I am clean and have been told that I make a great house guest.

PHILOSOPHY

Take advantage of every day. Try to do something every day that scares you. Plans don't always turn out as you had hoped, but that's is not always a bad thing.

Try to make a host's experience as enjoyable as possible when I visit. I host when I can in the state's, but unfortunately not as often as I would like.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meeting fantastic individuals and surfing in Europe with some amazing people. I've hosted a few times as well when the timing worked out.

Interests

Worked as a stage management intern on Broadway's production of Wicked.
Hitchhiked across eastern and western Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to slackline - tightrope walking between two trees on rock climbing webbing.
I want to learn about different cultures and places I have never been to.
