ABOUT ME

i like all kinds of stuff, traveling, foosball, parties, cafes, sight-seeing, exploring, taking photos of offbeat things, closet facebook junkie, movies, eating out, sushi loving slowed down after years of gluttony, beaches, open mics are definitely my thing, shopping for cheap, alternative travel, learning about the world, and i'm a writer, so i'm more chill than outgoing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i hosted and cfed a couple years back, now i'm back at home in scottsdale, arizona so i think while i'm here, i'd like to touch base with the cfers in phoenix, interested in events or meetings happening.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

hosted some, crashed on some couches, met cool couch surfers, went to a tent surf in the summer of 2010 i think, and this year, i'll definitely be open to heading to a tent surf again, i should be in the states then...

Interests

travel, writing, photography, learning Spanish, English teaching, exploring, road trips, alternative and cheap travel, would like to do small trips here and there, love to have a train ride somewhere, wwoofing in arizona since i'll be back here for a bit, will see about hosting once i'm back in flagstaff, meeting new people, trying new things

Music, Movies, and Books

love movies, all kinds of movies, netflix is great for movies, haven't read too many books lately, will be reading more especially once graduate school starts, love world music, indie bands and singer/songwriter stuff, can dance to mainstream, it's alright, but downright sad sometimes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been to a cool rainbow gathering, received a Medicine Buddha transmission from a Buddhist lama in Arizona, experienced a Native American Sun Dance Ceremony, saw Chiapas, Mexico, beautiful place, had a reunion with my birth mom in the Philippines just a few months ago...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give you info on tesol certification and teaching in other countries, we can go photograph, can guide a creative writing workshop, yeah if you've had a crazy day i'd be open to try a meditation, and i'm a great listener, i'd love to hear your stories!
