About Me

Hey I'm Steph, I'm Canadian but I was born in Buenos Aires, which is why I speak Spanish. I'm a marine biologist and I love to travel and experience new places and cultures and meet new people :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and I love to meet new people, as much as I like meeting other travellers it's always nice to get the authentic experience of a city with real locals :)

Interests

I love the ocean, I'm a marine biologist so I love it all! I love music, I play guitar and the drums. I love soccer, I used to play a lot but now I just play for fun, it's the best sport in the world! I also really like volleyball, swimming, snowboarding and when I can I love to surf! I really love traveling, it's a total addiction for me, I'm always amazed with how much beauty there is in the world and how many incredible people are out there, and at the same time how small the world really is! I'm always happy to go out for a drink or two, I spent a year in Belgium so I've acquired a taste for good beers :) I like to cook as well, but I'm not sure I'm so great at it :p

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music, I especially love seeing it live, whether it's a band I've loved for years or a performer on the street.

I love all movies by Tarantino and Wes Anderson. I'm a big Hemingway fan although I haven't read all his collective works yet, and Shantaram. I need to read more :p

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two years ago I spent 6 weeks in India and it was one of the best decisions of my life to go there! I met a lot of really cool people, both Indians and travellers. The food was INCREDIBLE! I learned so much and it really opened my eyes to a lot about India. I can't wait to go back!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can do my best to teach you some English or Spanish, if you have a guitar I can teach you a few chords :)
