About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting sussed to see the globe

ABOUT ME

Patience is not one of my virtues. I'm easily excitable, free spirited and laid back, generic kiwi traits. Total nerd. Working in a lab with stem cells, trying to save the blind.

PHILOSOPHY

Work hard, party even harder. That's pretty self explanatory.

I have a bit of a split personality, I think that it's okay to take things as they come, it'll all fall into place in the end, but if you don't have the passion to make it happen, you will end up with nothing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't couch surfed yet, but hopefully will have the chance to try it out over summer! Fantastic way to meet fun people whilst I'm location bound though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met both interesting and amazing people on CS and I've really enjoyed myself! Looking forward to meeting more fabulous people :)

Interests

I can't keep still. I love to dance, currently doing Salsa, would love to learn to tango! Also learning Spanish from awesome South Americans, wanting to use it in South America ASAP. Plus, learning some sweet Kungfu moves, getting in touch with my Asian roots. I do enjoy spending downtime playing the guitar (still a total noob, but slowly improving), reading, drawing/sketching - I love drawing :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like educational and thought provoking movies. The occasional action or chick flick is appreciated for mindless, lazy afternoons/evenings.

I have an alternative taste in music and like to discover new artists all the time, they deserve to be listened to :)

Books! I love my classics. I'm the one that you find in the dark corner at book fairs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There have been too many! And I haven't even really started travelling yet!

Stalking a sea turtle whilst snorkeling with my mates off the coast of Kenting in the south of Taiwan; having my goggles attacked by Nemo when snorkeling in Fiji; swimming in the freezing but beautiful Lake Tekapo with good friends, then sunbathing on the banks afterwards; the crazy flight over stunning Queenstown and Milford Sound in a Cessna piloted by my mate, absolutely unforgettable!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not quite sure if I have much to offer, but I can answer all your questions on stem cells, and I can hold up a pretty decent geeky conversation about bionic body parts.

I love learning new things! Anything and everything you got :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Greece, Italy, Japan, Palau

Countries I’ve Lived In

New Zealand, Taiwan
