ABOUT ME

I guess I'm a curious, open-minded, ambitious and easy to get along with person. I love meeting new people and learning about other cultures. I can't get enough of travelling. Therefore, experiencing a new way of travelling by doing couchsurfing.

Friends say I tend to be quite talkative (only in a positive sense...of course...haha). Probably they're right. I just love talking to people about any kind of topic. May it be music, movies, travelling, politics or life in general.

PHILOSOPHY

"One's company, two's a crowd and three's a party." (Andy Warhol)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is not just about crashing on people's couches for free. It's a life style, it's about meeting people, expanding one's horizon and having a great time together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I've couchsurfed in NYC and Liverpool. I've had a great time and made some lifetime experiences I'd never want to miss. I met wonderful people and somehow caught the CS fever. Now that I've had my first CS guests around here I'm looking forward to being host for a while until I can pack my bags and see more of the world.

Interests

Interests? Well, where shall I start? I love music. It's always been an important part of my life and I couldn't live without it. And I love to hear about new bands which are not familiar to me so far. Maybe something exotic from a completely different country. Surprise me!
Since I kinda did English studies while I was still a student, I'm into classic English literature. Sounds lame and nerdy...I know. But I can't help it. Jane Austen rocks :-)
But there is one thing which is more important than anything else: my family and friends. I love hanging out with them. They mean everything to me, so large parts of my spare time are dedicated to them. Since most of them share my interests, it's easy to find fun activities. Whether it's a glass of wine over a serious conversation or just a fantastic party, it doesn't really matter. I'm up for almost anything. Luckily, some of my friends a brilliant actors, so we get to share the fun of going to the theatre once in a while. I wish I were a good actor, but just watching it seems fine to me. No one would appreciate my appearance on stage I guess :-)
And last but not least: travelling! I can't get enough of it. I have been to many places...but the world is just too big. There's so much left to see. And I'm looking forward to it...
