About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live a life worth retelling someday.

ABOUT ME

I spent the first 23 years of my life living in Washington State in America. Besides a few trips to Canada and Mexico I never really traveled outside of the States and certainly never traveled outside North America. Fast forward one year later. I know live in Turkmenistan as a Peace Corps Volunteer. The country is a desert and I make no money but none the less I am happy to be here. I hope to see the rest of the world and meet its people. Maybe you will be one of them!

PHILOSOPHY

I want to have stories to tell. My stories. I believe that simple acts of kindness can change the world and that everyones actions matter. There are a lot of things to be positive about so everyday you should remember to smile.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I love history so naturally I love movies that take place in the past. Prefer dramas over comedy. Like musicals, classics, and action/adventure movies. My favorite movie is Dr. Zhivago.
Music: If its live I like it all but when I am alone a am usually listening to American Country, rock, or alternitive. Lately I have been listening to a lot of Yeasayer, The Black Keys, and Broken Bells.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working in Turkmenistan for FREE! There is a whole middle world out there that is largely forgotten because it is not starving. I like to think that this is not the most amazing thing I will ever do but it is the most influental so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to learn funny songs or Yoga, I'm your girl! Maybe I could teach you funny songs while doing yoga?
