I am an extroverted introvert. I am really enthusiastic about life and love sharing that excitement with others, but on the other end of the spectrum I need periods of space to recharge.

I'm an intuitive individual and like connecting the proverbial dots. I really love talking to people, and connecting over common expereinces, feelings, opinions as well as hearing those that are different. I am so intrigued and amazed by everyone's unique experiences and perspectives. I can get quite into hashing out differences (in a friendly way) if someone is into that. My areas of interest and most knowledge are in city planning, environmental sciences, art, and Christianity/theology/philosophy. Kierkegaard is one of my favourite thinkers.

I am a bit of an artist but not routinely practicing. I really appreciate contemporary work and am not so into modernist/pre-modern era stuff.

I am a chronic writer/journaller, and like to savour the texture of all my experiences and learnings by writing them down.

I joined a while back when I did a bunch of travelling starting in 2011, but was a little deterred by stories I had heard about expectations of hook ups and such. (This is definitely not what I'm here for.) That aside, this seems like an awesome way to get to see the world!

Hmm...a lot of things could be amazing in different ways... but since this is a travel website, I'll just say that it was amazing to get to stay in a little hole in the wall in Naxos, Greece for free and eat ridiculous amounts of feta cheese while hiking crazy beautiful hills of terraced farmland and coastline.
