studied anthropology at berkeley. love speakers taller than me w/ some evil nasty bass. otherwise, just living life trying to do good for the world... i enjoy listening to live music and dj's. quite often you'll find me w/ my nose in a book. i really enjoy hanging out w/ friends and playing games like dominos or cards. also, travel, travel, travel!! soon, i hope to see a bit of south america. for some reason though, i just keep ending up in amsterdam...

When i travel places, i usually end up being 'adopted' by a local, so to speak. just hanging out, making friends and being offered a couch... it really is the BEST way to enjoy your holiday and learn about your surroundings. i'm so excited to be a part of this network!

Music, Movies, and Books

basically, i like bits of all kind of music. very very very little country or ghetto gangster rap though!!! right now i seem to be listening to a lot of frank sinatra and perez prado. my favorite kind of music is downtempo. my most cherished albums at the moment are dj vadim, oneself, cocteau twins, bonobo, little plastic pilots, casino versus japan, john kennedy, boards of canada, boom bip, hexstatic and lamb.

movies - faves: life is beautiful, amelie, eternal sunshine for the spotless mind and good old mary poppins :)
