About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To broaden my horizons and learn about myself through learning from others.

ABOUT ME

I'm generally self-contradicting. I'm starting to gather that my moral code is virtually non-existent since most things seem like a good idea these days. Life goals include becoming a sailor, starting a rock band, leaving the country by any means necessary, starting a small business, opening a boarding house for local college students, finding true love, forsaking true love in exchange for instant gratification, having a good time, trying to be as decent a person as humanly possible, going after true love again, being a hermit, becoming an exhibitionist, living forever, finding myself, eventually dying either peacefully or tragically... no in-betweens. I've made a voyage across the US. ...and who knows what's next? The world? Have passport, will travel. I am a member of WWOOF.

Extroverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Feeling -- Meyers-Briggs

I am not easily offended and actually enjoy being interrogated. So ask me a question...

PHILOSOPHY

"I believe in everything, nothing is sacred. I believe in nothing, everything is sacred." - Tom Robbins
My philosophy is very loosely put together at this time, but I like it that way because it leaves room for change. Change, after all, is one of the only guarantees in this world. Mostly it's a set of ideals and personal goals borrowed from various experiences (religious, romantic, friendly, inspirational, near-death, etc...). To a degree, I believe in the general good, however, only when it allows room for balance. I am a firm advocate for universal balance. It helps me cope with whatever bad things happen to believe that they happen to allow for good to exist elsewhere or at some point in the future. Duality is also something I hold dear. There's a little William Blake in me...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Camelback Mountain in Pheonix, AZ. Hitchhiked across the US by my lonesome. Sang the blues on Beale Street in Memphis, TN. Mountain biked on Mount Hood in Oregon. I have seen the ugliness and the beauty humanity have to offer and loved every second of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know much, but I can say that accepting what happens and people as they are has helped me enhance my quality of life. Take things at face value not at what you expect them to be. You can't force your ideals and expectations on others, they have their own reality. Just think of the crusades...
