About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a 26 year old media arts graduate, looking to step into responsible media/video-journalism. Currently living and working in Hobart, enjoying a simple life of chipping away at writing and community radio production.
I love documentaries, films, news and analysis. Thunderstorms. The green waterfalls back at home. Queenslanders's verandahs. Talking politics, talking beer.
A calm, open minded and considerate person. Always tremendously grateful for the experiences couchsurfing has offered and keen to reciprocate!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I spent a good portion of 2012 around Iceland, England and Spain and was fortunate enough to be hosted by a number of incredibly warm people.
Interests
People are very important to me, but I'm also very independent. So as much as I love grabbing a beer and talking, or walking and listening to music with people.. I also spend a lot of time on my own reading, swimming, making things, cooking things. I'm trying travel with a mindfulness that's more about time and connections.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching Kathmandu disappear under a blanket of monsoon clouds every morning from my balcony.
Hiking through the Tarkine wilderness in Tasmania.
Listening to a story telling in little Kilkenny, Ireland
Saying hello to a lost seal pup in Isafjordur, Iceland
Returning home to swim in the waterholes
Teach, Learn, Share
Apparently I'm good at helping people appreciate the little things. I'm reflective and always willing for conversation. I could teach someone how to do a round off, make crowns out of ferns, ginger beer, cook a killer dahl, play some guitar, scales on the trumpet, make books.
I would treasure the opportunity to practice my Spanish. I would also love the opportunity to play music with people.
