About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world and broaden my mind through meeting new people, visiting new places and learning new languages

ABOUT ME

Well I'm just a normal person (this is open to interpretation of course :P )I am very respectful and open towards other people's views and opinions.
My biggest passions are playing football, travelling and creating video game art

PHILOSOPHY

The past is history, the future is always out of reach and the present is called that because it is a gift, so make the most of every day, and look to fill each and every day with a new experience.

There is so much to be learned through travelling that no book or scholar or website could ever teach you. There is no experience like personal experience

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have done a bit of couchsurfing and have met up with people for coffee too, and I have to say that it's a fantastic experience and a great way of meeting new people and making new friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done couchsurfing a couple of times while in Paris and have a brother that has been touring USA by couchsurfing most of the way; I love the idea of couchsurfing... no more does travelling and seeing the world have to be reserved for the wealthy

Interests

Playing Football (for my team or just for fun on the park)
Travelling
Meeting new people and making new friends
Playing video games :D and also creating the art for video games, of course
Going out for drinks
Finding amazing food in new restaurants

Music, Movies, and Books

I will listen to any music, it depends on my mood really. Some of my favourite artists have to be:
AC/DC
Rolling Stones
Justin Timberlake
The Streets
Notorious B.I.G
Pink Floyd
Jamiroquai etc...

I have many favourite movies, and could not possibly list them all, but this is a list of some of my favourite off the top of my head:

La Haine
Butterfly Effect
Shawshank Redemption
Transporter trilogy
The Matrix
Anchorman
Bad Boys I & II
Indiana Jones (the first 3)
Waiting
Scarface
Reservoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction

Books: Dan Brown's books, Phillip Pullman's Dark Materials Trilogy (Northern Lights, the Subtle Knife and the Amber Spyglass); Escobar (a book about Escobar's life as told by his brother) Stephen Fry's The Liar

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After I finished university I did some backpacking around mediterannean countries for two months during the summer, and a month after I got back I left everything behind to go and live in Malaysia (where i lived for several months) to look for new experiences and meet new people.

Teach, Learn, Share

If ever you visit a SE Asia country such as Malaysia or India and are eating with your hands, be careful not to use your left hand as it is very rude.

Also, don't be afraid to humiliate yourself from time to time, especially if it brings you closer to other people!

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, China, England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Singapore, Spain, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Malaysia, United Kingdom
