Overview
About Me
I am an open minded, creative, well-travelled and talkative person, interests ranging from politics to arts. I'm a freelance photojournalist mainly working in the Middle East, therefore highly interested in everything connected to Islam, the whole Middle East and its people :)
Please take into consideration that I will not walk you around the city and show you the sights, because I have done this so many times already and it has become very redundant to me. I appreciate guests that come here with an open mind and are somewhat flexible rather than people with a full itinerary. I am also really into museums and galleries, so if you have any plans to visit either, I'd love to join you or even pick out one together! At any time, I'll happily spend time with you in the apartment or go out to have dinner, cook together and have meaningful conversations with you!
To being able to have the latter, for me it is also mandatory that potential guests have an excellent command in either English or German. It is a very disappointing experience when I constantly have the feeling I cannot properly communicate with guests because (a lack of) language is between us.
I love going out on weekends, especially clubbing to techno music. So if you are like minded, I would love to go out clubbing together!
If you’ve read through my profile and want to request to stay with me, please start the message with a ‚hello there ‘, so I know that you’ve actually read it.
Also, please be aware that I don’t host people that have neither any Couchsurfing experience or references. In either case, please don’t send me a request.
The same applies to freeloaders; so if you’re only looking for a place to stay for free, do yourself and the whole CS community a favour, stop using this platform and book a hostel instead
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I strongly believe in the idea that Couchsurfing provides: A free exchange with people from all over the world. That can be as a host in my own country in city where I can provide people from around the globe with space on my couch, or whenever I am traveling in foreign countries and I want to learn something about local culture by staying in the home in a like minded CS member.
Interests
I take pictures or develop new stories for photo-essays. I love going out to techno clubs, riding my motorbike or bicycle, spending time in nature, consuming books and movies alike.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My visits to Iran, Lebanon and many other place in the Middle East helped me to learn, that there are still very kind people out in this world. Additionally I would say I've learned things abroad that no university could ever teach me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will happily listen to what your reasons are for coming to my city and will provide you with the places and locations that will suit the purpose of your trip. As mentioned in my profile, I don't take tourists to the typical sights anymore, because it is very redundant for me to do this, as I have seen these places so many times before.
If you haven't really traveled to the Middle East or any Islamic country yet, I can share all my knowledge any experience with you, and I will happily show you the photos I've taken there.
I love watching movies and series at home in my living room, so if you are into that, we can watch some in the evening.
