HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Like any average member, I surf (mostly), host and sometimes partecipate in CS events. And listen to stories about my friend Anya's great CS experience :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was attenting Roma CS weekly aperitif almost every week, and I met a lot of wonderful people there.

First of all, TV shows. When I'm at home, almost all the time that I don't spend on sleeping, eaing or chatting with my friends, I spend on watching series. Sometimes I remember that I can read â

Ok, let's start from movies. All the movies of Tarantino, Rodriguez, Wes Anderson, Pedro Almodovar, Richard Curtis; italian classic, especcialy Antonioni (well, after Blow-up I've realised that cinema is really an art); some romantic comedies (I always cry when I watch Love Actuallly); something of Terry Gilliam, Tim Burton and Woody Allen (but not all); and also I love all these movies based on comic-books, Avengers (!), Batman, Spiderman etc. — and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. And, of course, Star Wars!!!

TV-Shows: Game of Thrones, 2 broke girls, Suburgatory, Firefly, Dollhouse, Doctor Who and spin-offs — Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures; Mad Men, Babylon 5, House M.D., Dexter, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Sex and the City, Glee, Friends, Twin Peaks, Castle, Parks & Recreation, Friends, Community, 30 Rock and so on. Yep, I'm a geek. Geek-chic.

Music: Belle & Sebastian, David Lynch, Arcade Fire, Lana del Rey, Acustimantico, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Who, swing, Five in Love with Betty, Tom Waits, some Russian music, The Doors.

Books: Homer, Boris Pasternak, Lev Tolstoy, Ewelyn Waugh, Tom Stoppard, Alexander Pushkin.

And comic-books: Astonishing X-Men, Y the Last Man, Ex Machina, Scott Pilgrim, Preacher, Hellboy, Fables, Sin City, Fables, Dylan Dog.

Heh, I used to teach languages but it seems that I've forgotten almost everything. But I can tell you almost everything about the latest US tv-shows, channels'politics and so on. If you're too serious for it, you know, I'm kind of work in a serious on-line newspaper so I always can talk about politics.
