About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Cultivate diversity, arts, health and sustainability.
ABOUT ME
I'm an avid seeker. I am greatly interested in anything that a person is truely passionate about. I love to take on new projects. Most importantly I guess, I hope to meet as many diverse peoples as I can and learn about all aspects of their cultures. I love road trips and practice self sufficiency so that I can pack it up and go any time. I never want to miss an opportunity so if you can't seem to find a travel partner on the East Coast I'll be anyone's last resort.
PHILOSOPHY
Open Mind. Open Heart. Taking Chances On Our Heart Makes Us Young. (There's a reason they call it 'the Beaten Path'.)
Take the toil with a smile, laugh in the face of fury, humble yourself before the fearful.
Violence is the result of terrified desperation.
Give, every chance you get, until you are free from all things.
Love. And I mean really love, even though it may bring tragedy. And believe in your love. Embrace your desires and have faith in your inner Buddha.
A healthy body is a clean temple for your soul.
What you do makes a difference.
History repeats itself. But I'm not a part of his story. I'm a part of the Mystery, a part of my story.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've stayed with many a friend and stranger in my time. (none through the site, all real world connects) I've always been open to new experiences and confident in my self-reliant wellbeing. My favorite experiences were staying in the Blue Ridge Mountains for nearly a month (though thats where I grew up) and staying in Sarasota (also a hometown). If it weren't for those experiences I don't think I would have discovered the true heart of the communities there.
Interests
This is getting redundant. but here we go:
Biking, Hiking, Sailing, Coffee, Beer, Philosophy, Fine Art, Music (especially live), Astronomy, Health, Spirituality, Diversity, Natural Medicine, Environmental Sustainability, Language, Travel, Anything Organic, Animals, and Foraging.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There's this one spot, right on the Macon/Jackson line in NC where you can look out over the mountains. In the fall the colors will blind you. But I find amazement in my life all the time. I'm Blessed like that.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm currently working on mastering my soapmaking, brewing and gardening. I've been growing for more than 10 years and continue to explore new ecosystems and growing methods. I am just starting to make my own soap and as soon as I get my castor bean crop in and am able to use them for oil I will have 100% homemade soap. I am working on a brew system and would love to have help. I'm also working on learning the constellations and their paths (the stars here are lovely). As a long time health advocate I brew my own Kombucha and study natural health. I also love music, as I grew up surrounded by great musicians, and continue to seek new artists and new styles as well as try to play a bit. I'm always up for a language session.
