About Me
CURRENT MISSION
slow down life as much as possible and enjoy the simplest things
ABOUT ME
Easy going and ready to adventure at any given moment. Spontaneity is key. I grew up in Minneapolis and now live in DC, USA, the city of acronyms. Looking to meet some couch surfers in the area and explore my surroundings a bit more. Also, I have a soft spot for animals of all kinds, most of which are threatened to extinction! I highly HIGHLY recommend everyone to see the national geographic movie "The Last Lions". Good stuff.
PHILOSOPHY
Living life to its fullest while gaining happiness from the simplest things. NEED LESS, GIVE MORE! I once graffitied that slogan on a peice of wood and set it up along side the road. The next day it snowed a foot and when i went to see it, expecting it to be burried, i saw that someone else dug it out and planted it on top of the snow bank. Very happy moment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I have surfed and hosted...I strongly believe that traveling/meeting new people/cultures is extremely important and necessary for a peaceful society. Just being a member is cool but I hope to provide a couch for whomever needs it as well as use CS to travel and meet more awesome people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My CS doors were busted open by Eli In Boston and his crew. My first CS experience went from 2 to 9 days only because it turned into visiting old friends and not just meeting new people. I have also hosted awesome people that somehow made their way to East-Central Maine.
Interests
People, music, so many things, I try to be interested in anything that is possibly intresting. Sounding to cliche? guitars, drums, piano, good books, outdoors, animals, the atmosphere, atmosphere (hip hop), learning new languages, cooking, spicy foods, bread, living simply. But really, music, running and good food are real passions.

Music, Movies, and Books
just read Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. AMAZING!! enjoy many books, including anything Kerouac, anything Tolkien, anything Thic Nhat Han. Journey to the center of the earth (book) is totally up my alley. Enjoy lots of films/movies, but the ones that top the lists are Hook, Gandhi, Darjeeling Limited, Home Alone, Wet Hot American Summer, Big lebowski etc..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
ran with the bulls in pamplona, Spain. My best friend and I were touring Europe for a summer after high school graduation. Our first stop was Barcelona and (being 17-18 year olds) we went straight to the beach. There we met a guy from New Zealand who informed us that we happened to be in Spain the exact week that they do the running of the bulls in Pamplona (Festival d San Fermin). We didn't think twice and hopped on the next bus and had a crazy awesome time.
