ABOUT ME

I have been vagabond for many years, have lived in several countries. But now I urge for a home, to settle down. I try to live a healthy life, it is an important part of my life. I am very keen on yoga and nature walks.

PHILOSOPHY

I follow my spirit and what I feel is right, not what other people or a certain society think I "should" do. I think we should act as much as possible like Gandhi said: be the change you like to see.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have stayed with several surfers, had two surfers staying with me, met with surfers for dinners and fun, having a lot of email contacts and I spread the word to friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly surfed which has been great most of the time.

Interests

Write, read, yoga (a freak on yinyoga), nature, animals, politics, permaculture, sustainable solutions. Actions for a better world. I love dancing, to just let the energy flow with the music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have participated in a civil disobedience action towards nuclear weapons in the UK and spent 6 months in prison which was an amazing experience. To live such a long time together with people that I never really associate with otherwise was a great experience.

When meeting with other people we always have the opportunity to teach and learn from each other, in many different ways.

As I have traveled a lot I can for sure share travel experiences with my hosts. I can also share yoga!
