About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a learner, believing in the good things coming, music lover, curious for other cultures and their people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I don't want to get to know a place staying in a clean hotel room which is being tidied up for me every day, but by talking to locals, discovering their way of life in a very intimate way, by sharing their house and showing me the town they live in.

Interests

I love to dance, and I love to listen to music, so I can't think of anything better than going to a nice concert and simply let myself move by the rhythms.
I'm eager to learn new things about life and change perspective from time to time .... That's why I love to travel and meet people from all over the world - I could spend hours just listening to their stories, telling mines and discussing about life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jason Mraz definitely is my favorite artist. I love his philosophy of life ... The same goes for "Nahko Bear and MFTP", not that known in Europe; Nahko is an amazing singer-songwriter and evokes the most beautiful pictures with his songs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One hot afternoon in the summer, walking through a river in the Italian alps with two friends of mine, a German and a Korean girl ... We exchanged few words in Italian, but mainly enjoyed the feeling of inner peace, watching the mountains around us.
It was the simplicity of the scene which made it an amazing thing for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some funny Italian or German phrases (not just the basic vocabulary like insulting or compliments ;) and a dance (Rumba, Cha-Cha, Waltz, ...)
I would love to learn new Turkish words and dances as well (I am interested in traditional Folklore)
Let's share our travel stories - I am curious on hearing stories from all over the world! the fun ones, but also the strange ones, those that happen if you aren't able to communicate properly.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Something everyone needs if living in a shared flat: The ability to leave a bath or kitchen tidied up after leaving ;)

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Italy, Netherlands, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Italy
