About Me

I'm a 30 years old and I have been living in Waikiki Hawaii. I went back to college here to continue pursuing my BA in marketing. I have over 10 years experience in Hospitality and have always found it pretty easy to work at fine dining restaurants to make my living, pay for college and travel. I was fortunate enough to be signed by Wilhelmina Hawaii and was able to be a part of the inaugural Honolulu Fashion Week produced by Lynn O Neil (Producer of New York Fashion Week for the past 30 years) Living in Hawaii has definitely been a dream come true.
I was living in Alaska before I moved to Hawaii and worked there for a full summer season through Princess Cruiselines at Mt. McKinley Lodge. When you want to be in the middle of nowhere and want to experience the last frontier and the great outdoors and its beauty I would recommend that everyone give Alaska a chance once in their life time. My experience and memories there are priceless. Being able to see the Northern Lights is about as epic as anything can get.
I was living in Florida before I moved to Alaska and pretty much lived everywhere from Tampa,Orlando and Delray Beach where I was an ocean life guard at the Hillsborough Club. Being able to live at the country club and having you backyard as the ocean was another surreal experience for me.
In Orlando I was working with Baboom Entertainment LLC putting together events that included so many music artist I would have never imagined being able to work with. It showed me a lot with hands on experience in marketing that I completely fell in love with the field.
Overall I'm a very genuine guy who loves the outdoors ,surfing, great wine and food. I love meeting all different walks of life and cultures . I love being with my old and new friends no matter where I am living . I have always been called a social butterfly and I can say that is very true. All positive vibes from me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because I was referred by a friend who told me about it. I was a bit hesitant to sign up but after looking into I found out that this is an amazing opportunity to travel and have a safe place and hospitable people opening up their doors for you while I look for a place of my own and work. The hardest thing about traveling to new spots is a roof over your head and cash flow because I like to put at least 6 months into a destination I'm interested in living.

Interests

My interest are cooking, the outdoors such as hiking camping, surfing, music, painting, photography.

I also want to finish college with a BA in marketing and getting into the Surf Industry or lifestyle company with that degree.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't say I only have one genre of music I like, music is like food it's all good and bad. You have your favorites and the ones you stay away from.

The books I like to read are books that inspire you and have history and facts, I love learning. I can admit I will not read a New York Times Best Seller but will watch the movie haha.

Movies I love are going to be anything along the lines of visually appealing like fantasy adventure. I do have my favorites and classics. Quentin Terrentino is the man and Mr. Di Caprio needs an Oscar .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saved a shark when it's was beached. I was on my four wheeler while I was life guarding making a quick patrol along the shoreline. I then saw two sharks fighting the smaller shark was so startled that they swam so fast away from the other shark that they ended up beaching along the shore.

I couldn't believe I saw the entire thing happen right in front of me. Then there it was a shark that couldn't get back into the ocean.mso I did what anyone else would've done and that's to carefully push it back into the sea.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach anyone how to surf, sail, play guitar and cook. They are both passions of mine and I love how excited people get once they get it.

I can share plenty of stories about my life and experiences but not all at once.

I would like to learn about photography other than an IPhone.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm able to share my experiences and very unique life with anyone who is willing to listen. I am an open book and a loyal friend.
