About Me

I just moved to California after spending the last year backpacking through Europe. Adventure is still the name of the game at every turn. I can roll with the punches, and I'm a motivated student of life. As an artist and writer, I love meeting kind people with a good story and an enlightened attitude.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet interesting people and experience the culture of every place I visit from a local's perspective. While I enjoy the more tourist-laden activities, I prefer to see the small cafes, dive bars, and little venues that all cities have to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Musically, I'm entirely adaptable. Lately, I've been listening to acoustic singer/songwriters (mostly for inspiration), but I like the best of everything from metal to rap to folk.

Movies that are plot-heavy, artistic, and/or conceptual usually catch my eye. I'm not one to go see the latest popcorn flick, but I'm definitely not opposed if it's well written! Comedy, action, thrillers, b-movies, and indie films tend to top my list. I watch more TV than I care to admit, but 30 Rock and South Park are good examples of my sense of humor.

I'm a fan of fiction, but I'm trying to sway myself to the nonfiction world as of late. Mostly, I just love a good story! At the moment a sizable copy of Don Quixote has been accompanying me through Europe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a wealth of knowledge about cannabis cultivation, beer brewing, branding and identity for companies (a degree in this one), as well as general knowledge on a variety of miscellaneous subjects.

I cannot stress enough how much I love to learn! People are my favorite part of any place, and I try to absorb every detail that I hear.
