About Me

Some would call me a citizen of the World. Coming soon to a city near you.

I am Just curious to meet some friendly local folks who don't mind a lad hailing from Oxford, UK. I have been studying there for my MSc in psychology. Originally I am from Canada , Winnipeg, but it's not my fault.......I was born there :P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend Christof from Switzerland recommended this website as a method of accommodation whilst on vacation. He has successfully surfed on 3 of his previous holidays , and had a great time each one.

Seemed like a great idea to me! So here I am , saying hello :D

Update: Back in Winnipeg for a while. Looking to share my tiny space and soft mattress. Paying it forward. Available to act as a tour guide if you need one. Also available as an UBER driver.

Music, Movies, and Books

Best books are by JRR Tolkien , Lord of the Rings + Hobbit obviously. Sillmarillion was too long and too slow. Robert Jordans EPIC series 'The Wheel of Time' gets 2 thumbs way up.
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy also seems appropriate to list in this category

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited the Great Wall of China, Been to South Korea and Japan. Travelled to Switzerland, France, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands and all over the UK. Many stories and many tales.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Tales of far away lands, good conversation and a relaxed atmosphere. For me this website is about local hospitality and knowledge of the area. Plus the money saved by not renting a hotel equals more money to spend on frivolities (local host should have good suggestions :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, China, France, Germany, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, South Korea, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, United Kingdom
