About Me

I spent a few years traveling the world with a backpack, and made some lovely, lifelong friends along the way. I'm much more settled now here in Berkeley, with my little dog Rosie. I still travel periodically, mostly to visit friends in New York and London, but I did get back down to Costa Rica last year, which was fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couchsurfing from a friend who was using it, and I thought it would be nice to offer my spare guestroom to travelers coming through the bay area, especially given how expensive things are in this area now. I miss meeting fellow backpackers, and I thought this would be a nice way to give back to the traveler community, and share a few meals and maybe make a few friends!

Note - I'm on CS solely to offer a place to stay for travelers. I'm not looking for romance, sex or anything down that road.
