About Me

Traveling has been my passion ever since I began doing it back in 2008. Although I started late, I made up for lost time. Since 2008 I have visited 23 countries. I always said that I wished I traveled more before I went to get a job after university. Many other countries already do this however we in the USA get right into the workforce. Knowing what I know now that is a terrible idea! I always said that if I had the chance to do it over I would travel more. The opportunity presented itself when after 14 years with a company I was recently laid off. I have a rare opportunity do have a do-over. With that said I bought a ticket to Bogota, Colombia and will begin this journey on Sept, 3 2017. I thoroughly enjoy meeting people from other cultures and this seems like a great way to make new friends internationally. I look forward to writing the next half of my life with all the fellow travelers I will meet on the way!
