Hi, I'm Steve Lin from Taiwan.

So, to make it short :)

I dropped out of my PhD program in computer science after studying 1 year. (I Just don't like it)

I quit software engineer/research assistant after working 1 year.

I quit English/Mandarin tour guide in Taiwan after working 2 and half years.

I quit customer service from a Swiss company in Slovakia after working 1 and half years.

Now I’m a full time busker, currently in Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the very beginning , I deemed Couchsurfing as one of the way to help me to travel around, but now, I made so many good friends here and they somehow all share similar or certain-level value of life. Lot's of idea or inspiration are given and taken from here.

I ever walked for more than 1200 km in 60 days by myself with a tent in a round trip of Taiwan.

I'm a former paratrooper during my military service. Jump out from 1400 feet 5 times.

Teach, Learn, Share

I was unexpectedly on the local Slovak media (News, Radio station , TV show, online media) because of my music video. I really appreciate on their interest about my life in Slovakia. That makes me want to work harder to create more and better video. If you google keywords "Pišta Linovecký", you will find most of the reports.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- I can buy ingredients to cook some Taiwanese cuisine.
