ABOUT ME

I am a young Canadian in my twenties planning to embark on an adventure in Southeast Asia this Fall 2008. This will be my first backpacking experience, so I'm sure most of you can empathize with my roaring excitement! I'll be landing in Singapore September the 4th, my 23rd birthday.

I am an outgoing and kind individual who loves to laugh. I love socializing, good food, wine, beer and making music.

I strive to find deeper ways to express myself and to listen to others. I value the ability to express oneself, whether it be through speech, art or other forms, as well as the ability to listen and reflect on others' expression.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Experiences and relationships are the greatest devices for one to grow and get the most out of life. My inspiration stems from these two parts of life, and CouchSurfing allows me to share and be inspired by new experiences with people I otherwise would have never met.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a very new and excited member of CouchSurfing! I hope to share experiences very soon with those of you traveling in Montreal, Canada this summer. This Fall 2008 I look forward to meeting people with couches in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and/or Indonesia!

Interests

Music - jazz, rock, hip hop, creative, folk.

Sports - Basketball, Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball, Tennis.

Great food, beer and wine!

Live music and brewpubs are the places I frequent the most at night.

I am a professional jazz saxophonist with a high level of training in music improvisation and composition.

I love to talk about all forms of music and discover what it is about different music that is meaningful to others.
