About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience the world

ABOUT ME

I grew up in western Washington, lived in Central Alberta (Canada) for two years and recently moved to Southern California.
I am pretty laid back, a bit of a joker, and am very health conscious. I however, do enjoy the occasional drunken debate.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short, cultural diversity makes the world interesting, etc. My philosophy is in a constant state of flux:
Don't waste time worrying about the future. Just enjoy life, help whoever you can, and try to embarrass your friends a little along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

brand new here. I'll find some way to contribute to this expedition.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never done much couch surfing myself, but I have had friends, or friends of friends stay on my couch in the past.

Interests

Traveling, experiencing cultural diversity, hiking, rock climbing, building things, burning things(c'mon, what guy isn't a pyro at heart?) Debating theology/philosophy, gadgets, computers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Reading: Sci-fi, philosophical essays, technical training, anything I don't already know about..
Movies: Two kinds of movies; either action movies with great choreography, or any brain twister/paradox movie that you end up pondering long after the movie is over.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a couple months in Guinea, West Africa, saw the most amazing lightning storm there, built a house, drove through Ghana, ate gazelle. Also had a great time right at home in Everett, Baked 20 pumpkin pies and took them to a soup kitchen, hung out with bums for 6 hours. I Drove 22 hours nonstop(except for gas) from NW Washington to SW California.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a damp sponge, I've got a little to share but love to soak up knowledge through experience, be it mine or someone else'.

Countries I’ve Visited

Guinea, Mexico, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, United States
