ABOUT ME

I recently moved back to Denver to further my career as a performing artist. I'm traveling a lot, however, staying in as many places as I can to learn as much as I can. I love traveling. I studied in Italy twice, and have seen more of Europe than the US... that's changing this year.

I'm passionate about communication and expression. Life is about experiences, so I'm after as many as possible, whether that's enjoying a chill dinner with new people or hitting a city's night life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined because I'm traveling for performing (free), networking, and volunteering. So I'd really appreciate any hospitality.

Since I'm traveling, I don't really have a couch to offer anyone yet, but if you are in Denver when I'm in town, I'll gladly show you around the city and kick it with you. So let me know!

Music, Movies, and Books

I just read "Taking the Leap" and I'm following it up with "Wherever You Go, There You Are." Awesome books on mindfulness. "Winter Stars" is a book of poems by Larry Levis that yanks all over my heart strings. As for music, I'm all over the place. Playing on shuffle in my car: Feist, Miike Snow, Kanye West, Black Keys, Drake, Wale, Jem, Peter Bjorn & John... on and on. I love it all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was on a bus that crashed after an eye-opening weekend that challenged my current understanding of being. It was around 2am. I woke up to the crash and then literally woke up. I was vulnerable, like every one else. I've grown more in 6 months than I have in 2 years. This occurred on a lunar eclipse as well.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been DJing for years, so I can teach you how to mix up some awesome beats.
I also write poems and music, so I can show you some of that too.

Would love to learn more about photography. I have about zero many visual art skills.

I'm learning the power of meditation and mindfulness now. The last 6 months have been a whirlwind of change in my life. What seems to be the base of my new learning: I AM vulnerable, nothing is guaranteed outside of this moment in my own life, and that resisting the flow of life is a major headache. So I'd love to hear your take on living, basically.
