ABOUT ME

We are a very nice married couple who have been together 18 yrs. We have 4 kids, 2 granddaughters, 2 tiny tea-cup Chihuahuas and a sweet fluffy Cat...we live in the country...and if it matters to you, we are a gay couple, but very accepting of ALL folks...LOL :o)

We live on a small lake and love to kayak, paddle board, swim and just play in the water in the Summer. I love to garden and come Spring time...I am just dying to get my hands in the dirt! We are Spiritual and attend church, but not as "Religious" as I used to be...I think the "Church" sometimes teaches us to hate more than to love....and I just do not think that that's what God's message taught.

*I always assume All folks are good (sorry to say that sometimes I am heart-broken by things I see or read in the news these days)
*Be gentle, be kind, love even when you are hated, take time to just listen and hoard all the red jelly beans :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We LOVE CS...we want to "pay it forward" and to host and be hosted by other kind-hearted, down to earth folks from all around the globe. We may not have much, but we can always offer CS folks a warm nights stay, a shower, a warm meal, maybe some wine and good conversation...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've had ONLY Awesome experiences ....every Surfer and Host has been unique....so different, yet so awesome! ***I strongly believe that "References" are the back bone of CouchSurfing. We ALWAYS leave references.... sometimes within hours of hosting/surfing. We expect you to leave one for us.... or we may delete ours for you***

Interessen

Mostly spending time with the kidlings & grandkidlings...there's nothing more beautiful than to see extensions of yourself grow into perfect little beings with their own flaws, personalities and ideas of what this world is all about...it's just a miracle!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

We love ALL music...and I mean All....you will hear everything if you stay with us. And if you don't hear it...might be because we haven't heard about it :o)

Movies: I mostly like Drama's...Steve and the kids love everything....I am learning to love sci-fi more and more !

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

when Jeff was 14, he saved a friend from drowning while we were swimming in a river...of course I almost drown myself pulling him to shore....but it was a great feeling :o) Steve has served in the middle east with the Air Force...and has many amazing stories
