About Me

Hey!
I am a 39 year-old clown, writer, and puppeteer from Montreal, Canada.
I study and teach in my artistic disciplines, and do construction and gardening work for extra cash.
I also worked for about 5 years as a deckhand and assistant mechanic in the shipping industry, and I worked for 6-7 years combined in disability work and youth work.

I love camping, minimalist backpacking, and long, funny, wild discussions. Also recently very interested in herbalism and permaculture.

I am very cosmopolitan, have lived in 6 countries, and in several regions of Canada, including northern Canada.

I love kids (I'm one of the good clowns) and pets, and am quite handy, too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently looking for a spot to pitch a tent for about 3 weeks (or some portion of it) in Boulder, Colorado, for myself and possibly my friend Gibum. We are coming to Boulder to study clown for three weeks in August 2024, and we're both students, and are trying to be frugal :)

Re: couchsurfing, I've hosted and been hosted-- it's been great. I've made strong friendships through this site, and met the most interesting and generous people. If hitchhiking is a "free ride across the country with the nicest people in it," then couchsurfing is a "free introduction to a place by the nicest people there."
