About Me

ABOUT ME

Love to play sports. Big snowboarder, tennis, and squash player. I enjoy a nice hike. Best way to stay in shape while travelling.

At the moment I am trying to learn French. I can get by with what I have. I'd love to be fluent in the language eventually. But with anything it comes with time and practice.

When I have some more free time I try to keep up with the gaming/technology world. Love computers, built one before I left. Always wanting to learn more about how they work. Love to play games as well, mostly console games.

PHILOSOPHY

"The longer you're stuck in your own negative emotions, the faster good things pass by."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about couch surfing a few months before I left traveling. Haven't hosted anyone one yet but would love to when I get back to Canada

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have has some amazing hosts. A lot of them who I still keep in touch with. I have been able to really experience what the city has to offer. I've even been lucky enough to run into fellow surfers in hostels, which seems to always make for a fun day. The only thing is, I wish I could bring more stuff from Canada, but travelling for so long makes it difficult.

But on the other hand I have had some bad experiences. Mostly regarding open requests and/or the emergency request. I can't believe I have to say this but if you message back from an open request, or emergency request, I am NOT looking for a sleeping partner! I feel that the people who just use this sight to sleep around are not using couchsurfing properly.
