ABOUT ME

I love to travel and meet people. I'm a structural engineer by profession and I play guitar, bass and a little piano. I love the water. I surf, sail, dive and swim. I love being outside. I climb, trail run, obstacle course race, snowboard, ski and hike. I moved to Swansea when i was 18 and to London when i was 23. I was the social secretary of the Swansea Uni Surf Club and cocktail bartender.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat people as you would like to be treated.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I usually have space, why not fill it?! Come surf my couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Two so far! First, my lady and i were in Utrecht in Holland and we ended up meeting this guy Rene who happened to be a couchsurfer so we stayed with him. Second, almost the exact thing happened in Prague with Mika. True epic times were had in both cities!

We also have hosted a few. We had a pretty cool couple of brothers with were travelling using money gained from busking in their two piece Scottish folk band. They played at an event my woman put on then ended up entertaining all our mates until the morning.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Movies: I kinda love stories so i'll watch most anything. Austin Powers, Pirates of the Carribean, The Departed, Sin City, The Prestige.

Music: mainly dominated by Hendrix, Damien Rice, Example, Felix Fables, Flux Pavilion, Acoustic, Rock, Folk, Drum and Bass, Liquid and a fair bit from most other genres.

Books: Emperor and Conquerer series - Conn Iggulden, Troy series - David Gemell, Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, Mark Haddon, Dan Brown, Archer

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

-Hitch Hiked to Prague from Swansea (about 1000 miles with the route we took)
-Gigged in front of 4000 people
-Competed in the 40th Annual Regatta in Carriacou in the Carribean
-Been all over the world but more on that when i get more time.
