Overview
About Me
My name is Stevie and i'm an international student from the Philippines. I've been here in Australia for three years now and enjoying my work, study and social life combined into one big challenge.
Back when i was in my teenage years, i'm very anti-social. I don't have the confidence, afraid of being rejected to the group etc. but now, I am here socialising with people! Confidence is getting back piece by piece and enjoying life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I wanna meet new people and learn different cultures, exchange opinions and travel stories and to save up money (of course! that's why everyone is on couch surfing! it's free accommodation! let's be real here guys!)
But seriously, I wanna try couch surfing because it's what's famous in the backpacker world. For the duration of my stay, i'll clean your house, cook you lunch or brekky if i have the time and give you a token of appreciation in the end.
CS is a new way of establishing connections- for a short period of time of permanently.
Interests
Traveling is what I really love. I have been to some Asian countries and now saving up for my ultimate European experience. I'm also into music festivals especially those big ones like Stereosonic, Earthcore etc. My dream is to be in Tomorrowland and Ultra. Aside from that, i'm a foodie running my own instagram blog about Melbourne cafes, coffee experiences and just anything about food and drink.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Travelling alone Brunei for three days alone. That's the first time I went overseas by myself and I really enjoyed it.
2. Camping trip on the Grampians and Great Ocean Road, I met lots of backpackers, learned some cool stuff and stories. I earned friends for life!
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't really understand what does it mean but I learned lots of things about backpacking. I get what freedom really means, how to use it and how to control it. Being independent is also an important thing that I learned towards my journey. Aside from that I have the courage and the confidence to meet strangers.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some funny stories, my sense of humour and my culture. I'm just being myself and what you see is what you get.
Breakfast, lunch or dinner. I'll be happy to cook for you (i have a background in the kitchen so i'll try my best to prepare the best dish as possible).
Cleanliness, i'll be happy to clean up before i leave.
