I'm an open book. I try my hardest to make honest connections wherever I go, and people usually appreciate my quick wit and abundant friendliness. It's been my luck to be able to both talk and listen to people that I've just met, something I don't take for granted. Ready and willing to engage in a life that I can call my own. I'm an American of the ol' adventurous mold!

Whether I'm surfing or hosting, I try to be as open-minded and understanding as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've carved out a map of the American Southwest and quite a lot of mainland Europe since joining Couchsurfing and along the way I've met some amazing people with all sorts of different backgrounds.

Making horrible noise in bands, painting, volunteering at animal shelters, enjoying the company of those who are happy to have me.

Nico, The Replacements, Andrei Tarkovsky, Throwing Muses, Gregg Araki, and Roberto Bolaño are all very important to me.

Mostly I'm interested in any artwork that has a deep, unforgettable importance to someone.

I spent a month in Turkey with a set of friends who became very near and dear to me. It's a wonderful place and the outpouring of kindness I received was nothing short of amazing.
