I focus my studies on ancient and some modern history. Most of my work is in tutoring Latin and Classical Greek, but I also do book keeping. I enjoy reading, hiking and walking in general.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy traveling and meeting local people wherever I stay. This began on my first trip abroad. I became friends with a Greek family and the next year I stayed with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy most genres, but I particularly like Classical, Latin American folk, Greek folk music and Turkish music. My favorite movie is "La Bamba", though—alas—I don't know many other movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was able to go INTO the Parthenon in Athens. I studied with the American School of Classical Studies and we had access into it, so we learned about it within. It was sublime.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a good amount of my city's history along with the surrounding area. If you wish to visit California, the Central Valley (my home) is likely the best place to stay: one has access into the whole state from here.
